WHAT DROVE YOU TO JOIN CrossFit JOZI EAST?
A Friend suggested it to me. He is a CrossFit – Elite athlete. The difficulty that I experienced with attending a conventional gym is that very often equipment is occupied by other members and you are constantly walking around trying to substitute one exercise for another, only to find that the substitution exercise equipment is also occupied.

That’s an easy one – Completing that ONE workout that I once couldn’t complete.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE CLASS OR SESSION AT CFJ EAST?
When I teamed up with Clinton in this crazy running match thing where we competed with other teams. I thought I was going to die that day. But as Carl says “You have to visit that place where you push yourself to the max!” It is strange how one remembers the really difficult times and usually it is the most memorable.

A lot of water bottles. Since I started CrossFit I find myself a little more thirsty.

My brother and I enjoy wakeboarding and usually after a session we have a bit of backache (lower back pain). Since I started with CrossFit I don’t suffer with backache after a session on the water.

To be a healthy and supportive Dad AND to be a level 2 athlete… now… if I can only get level 1 out of the way!
