HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINING AT CFJ?
A long time:) I think 3-4 years – (Caileigh joined in February 2012)
WHAT ENCOURAGED YOU TO JOIN US WHEN YOU DID?
I wanted to lose weight, get fit and be strong:)
ARE THERE ANY MEMORIES FROM YOUR FIRST DAYS THAT YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?
Wondering why I kept coming back, cause I was dying during the workout, but so happy that I did keep coming back!!!
Lots of memories looking at the white board and seeing the RX weights wondering if I’d ever get to a point where I can do them.
WHAT IS THE COOLEST THING THAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED AT CFJ?
There are so many!!!! But would have to be any gymnastic movement, the pull up, toes to bar and HSPU are the coolest so far but I know the MU will be the best!!!!
WHAT CHANGES IN YOUR HEALTH HAVE YOU NOTICED SINCE STARTING CrossFit?
Plenty… But the biggest would have to be feeling so much healthier, I don’t feel tired or sluggish anymore, I have more energy, I’m more conscious of what I eat, my body fat % went down and my muscle mass went up:):)
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT BUSY GETTING FITTER AT CFJ?
When I’m not getting fitter at CFJ, I’m getting stronger doing Power lifting, because I am still not sure there is actually a life outside of training:)
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS SINCE JOINING CFJ?
Since joining CFJ I have achieved so much more then I could of possibly imagined!!! CFJ opened up the door to so many opportunities that I would of never thought possible EVER!!
The biggest achievement would have to be holding SA records in Powerlifting, earning Protea colours, and competing against the best at World Powerlifting Championships!

WHO INSPIRES YOU AT CFJ AND IS THERE ANYONE ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO?
There are lots of people that inspire me, firstly the 5am class cause waking up so early in winter is not easy!!!
And everyone who never gives up cause Pushing through a long workout is tough but we all get through it!!
And everyone who I started CF with 4 years ago cause we are still addicted to it and going strong:)
And a huge shout out to all the coaches, they are all amazing and always make sure our movement standards are good and keep pushing us to do our best!
