I’ve been training at CrossFit Jozi since:
I think I started about two years ago but I’ve only started coming thoroughly over the past year.
I discovered CrossFit through:
My brother Ryan did CrossFit and used to talk about it constantly so I thought I’d give it a try.
The most significant change in my health since starting CrossFit has been:
Just feeling stronger overall. I used to be one of those kids that did no physical activity ever, so joining crossfit and just getting fit and strong feels so amazing. I’m so much more aware about what’s healthy and what’s not and it’s just improved my health so much.
My biggest challenge in CrossFit is:
Running. I hate it everytime it’s in a workout, it just completely kills me. Oh, and keeping my knees out when I squat.
What keeps you coming back?
Everyone at the box is so inspiring and makes coming back so much easier, the way my body feels after it’s had a great workout and also just slowly getting better at the skills makes you feel so good!
If I could use one word to describe myself it would be:
My favorite activity outside of CrossFit is:
I love swimming and going to watch theatre shows.
My favorite place to eat in Jozi is:
Rossa pizza definitely. I love pizza more than I should probably and they do it so well.
My proudest accomplishment at CrossFit Jozi is:
Getting pull ups and toes to bar and just becoming stronger in all of my lifts.
My goals for the remainder of the year are:
I definitely need to start stringing together muscle ups. And get stronger with my strict press and push press.
